I have decided that I like windy days because then nobody can tell when you're having a bad hair day.
The words 'chip off the old block' are springing to mind...
OK, geekgasm! I finally got Morrowind running on my pooter. Turns out the old one had graphics card issues, which means my frame-by-frame WOW performance was probably related, and this one probably goes way better - only now we have patchy internet. I'm not heartbroken about not being able to drag Cerr out of mothballs, really. And Morrowind is something I'll explore when I have less kid commitments. But, yay!
And last night I got a Polly, and to chop wood (in no particular order), which always makes me happy.
Am I the only person in the world that doesn't get excited about Monty Python humour? I find it mildly amusing sometimes, inane the rest. I know I'm in the minority here, and no offence to those who like it - good art is art you like, same with wine and comedy. But it just seems strange to me that my very smart friends all seem to like it and I just.. don't.
Also, am I the only person left that can eat dairy and gluten and be Just Fine? I'll have a cheese sandwich please, with extra bread and cheese - because, by default, I'm a unique and special snowflake.
More lectures today. Is it normal for the course readings to not be published in time for the first lecture?
