tatjna: "It's the batmobile!"
xhile: *best hollywood russian accent* "This is authentic Russian vehicle!"
grist: *bhra* "Powered by vodka!"
So anyway, despite the confusing plot and the fact that I now realise that it's always night time in Russia, I enjoyed it a lot. I'm looking forward to Day Watch.
I have also succumbed to Harry Potter fever and am reading The Half Blood Prince for the first time. Amazingly, apart from Dumbledore dying, I've managed to pretty much avoid spoilers for a book that's been out for two years, mainly due to an almost complete lack of interest. So why now? I want to be like all the cool kids! *cough* Mainly, I stopped reading them because I didn't enjoy the previous book, but watching the film rekindled my interest and now I want to know what happens. Simple, me.
In other news, I'll be at Fevah on Saturday, sans hoop since this is a large scale thing and there won't be room. There are people who have newly discovered the joys of dancing, and want to go sample the thrill of jumping up and down on the spot surrounded by sweaty people, and being hugged by random strangers, for themselves. Now that I've decided to go, I'm very much looking forward to it. Shiny!
I am still trying to figure out how kittyfarmer managed to be the dj in the afterparty scene of Human Traffic. He gets around, that boy.
Because you all find my choice of stockings riveting, really, don't you? Also, yes those are bathroom tiles. I am all class.
There will be fire dancing tonight, if it isn't raining. A couple of people have expressed interest in going. russiandolls? It's at the little park that's first driveway on the right after you go through the roundabout onto Petone esplanade, and starts about 8-ish.
Tomorrow I may wield a chainsaw. We shall see.
