Today, I found out that Richard Nixon, the guy who started it all, was an insomniac who used alcohol to alleviate stress and obtained sleeping pills without a prescription from a friend.

I also discovered that the New Zealand Drug Policy definition of drugs explicitly constructs use of a substance to obtain psychoactive effects as not a legitimate use, unless that substance is tobacco or alcohol.

I ranted out 1300 words before I ran out of steam, but that's ok because they're all good words, I've completed that line of argument and know what the next one will be, and I have 2 weeks up my sleeve with a public holiday in it. I'm all good.

Today, I am Thinking In Portals.
