tapir

Power shopping, waffle-things and Elevator Cat, all in a day's work.

Yesterday I spent the morning doing actual tourist stuff - ie, going Western-clothes shopping in the Western-clothes shops in Times Square. Luckily for me, I'm on the high end of average clothes sizes here, and often things in my size are discounted for having not sold.

This is unusual for me since I'm normally on the lower end and my size sells out really fast.

Anyway, I was looking for the following items for my Not-Lunch: businessy type skirt, boots that aren't stompy, plain top, stockings, handbag (cos mah backpack is not-so-professional looking for meeting GMs in)

My body has adjusted to the pace of life here now. I actually woke up to the alarm this morning and happily snoozed till 8:30. Adjusting back to NZ time is going to be HARD.

Right, now I'm off to go psych myself up for this interview-that-isn't-an-interview, and also do some primping. And researching the HKQF some more so I can ask intelligent questions.

Wish me luck!
