Is that a woggle in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?

This weekend I had the urge for a new duvet cover and sheets, so I went and visited Bed, Bath and Beyond, Briscoes, and the Warehouse. I soon discovered that bedding is, apparently, supposed to be insipid unless you're a kid.

What I would like is a red duvet cover and pillowcases, and also some sheets in high thread count. I have a lime green/avocado coloured duvet cover and I'd like some sheets in that colour so that I can have the red/green combination. I like bright colours, they make me happy.

Apparently that makes me enough of a niche market to not be provided for. I did find a red duvet cover on TradeMe, but the red and lime green sheets are still eluding me. Anyone who knows anywhere good online - suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Apparently Amazon don't ship sheets to NZ so they're out...

Projects done this weekend: not many actually. The firewood stack is comfortably large enough that we won't be running out this winter. That's satisfying. Hung out with friends Sat evening and watched back episodes of Invader Zim. Did a card reading for someone (I don't do it often so it's always interesting to see how it turns out and I'm usually surprised that I can still do it). Wicked the fire fans while eating caycos's tasty tasty cupcakes. Finally saw the last three episodes of Dollhouse! Want.Moar! Enabled The Kid to earn himself some dollars by carting him around. Realised there are some facts I must face and deal with and that I have no idea how to do that. Was loved, and gave love. Got rained on.

(i like the rain, when it's warm)

My book on pleasure makes a distinction between pleasure and happiness, with the idea that pleasure doesn't necessarily make you happy. I tend to agree, but pleasure is nice too. ;-)
