Thanks to beagl

I have been thinking about really bad song lyrics. I always thought that Fergie one about my humps and my lovely lady lumps was pretty bad, but I think Puff Daddy wins:

"Young, black, and famous, with money hangin out the anus!"

Well, that's nice, Puff, but.. uh.. is that why you wear those huge pants that look like you did something in them?

Anyway, tell me what you think the worst song lyric is. Extra points for it not being hip hop (fish, barrels, you know?)

(yes i am almost entirely without content today. bite me)

Also, this week's additions to my library so far include:

The Cocaine Wars - a somewhat sensationalist but easy-reading history of the cocaine trade and corruption, organised crime and territoral infighting in Miami in the early '80s.

Cocaine - an Unauthorised Biography - a comprehensive history of 'the Third Scourge' - from the discovery of coca use in South America by the Spanish Conquistadors, through its government-sanctioned use in all sorts of medicines and Coca-Cola, and its endorsement by Freud, through prohibition to the present day.

Ecstasy - The Complete Guide - a companion to Bruce Eisner's book, attempting a balanced look at the risks and benefits of MDMA.

New Zealand Green - the history of cannabis in New Zealand.

Still to come - The Opium Wars (I think it's important for me to understand this kind of background to prohibition, the political motivations and whatnot), and Acid Dreams - a history of LSD within a social and political context.

Age and Guile by PJ O'Rourke. Just because I like his writing. I know it's probably heresy, but I think he writes smarter than Hunter S.

Lalala... looking for recommendations - if you know of a book I should read, let me know.
