Monday Morning Ramblings

It's weird being back at work. Apparently they missed me. Awwww... It's also much easier to do things with a screen that's big enough to do things on.

Yesterday, I discovered that I needed two large balls. Resisting the temptation to post my need on LJ, instead I went with two girlfriends and procured myself a pair. I then promptly gave them away to people whose need is greater. Anyway, if you'd like to see my balls displayed in all their glory, come to Weird Pscience!

I am excited about art at the moment. I just registered my project for Kiwiburn, and spent some of Saturday night detailing it. The next step is to make a scale model out of sticks (because it's not real till you've made a scale model out of sticks). There won't be photos because this thing (i hesitate to really call it art because it's more about fun and entertainment) relies quite heavily on surprise.

And, Mr Motion, I won't be emitting carbons by burning it. Instead, I plan to recycle it, as in save the bits it's made of to make available for artists in future years. *polishes halo*

Ok, go on, tell my why I'm still being a nasty not-caring-about-the-environmenty-person. I know you're dying to....

News Flash! Bank of America now using Yahoo for email!

From: Bank Of America <>

Dear Bank of America client,

You have received this email because you or someone had used your account from different locations (because me and someone never go to any other locations, noooo) .For security purpose (don't abuse the Security Porpoise, dude), we are required to open an investigation into this matter.

In order to safeguard your account, we require that you confirm your banking details.

The help speeed (does the extra 'e' make it faster?) up to this process (watch out you don't crash into the process after you've sped up to it eh), please access the following link so we ca complete the verification of your Bank of America Online Banking Account registration information.

http://0313.027447202/online/sslencrypt218bit/online_banking/ (because, you know, that really looks like a legitimate bank website, yeah)

If we do no receive the appropriate account verification within 48 hours, then we will assume this Bank of America account is fraudulent and will be suspended (you'll be suspended? would that be from hooks, from trees, or from school? you have my sympathy).

The purpose of this verification is to ensure that your bank account has not been fraudulently used and to combat the fraud from our community (yeah mate, i'm having my doubts about your community for sure). We appreciate your support and understanding and thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I give this an E. Please try harder. I can almost forgive them for not knowing I'm not American (everyone on the internet lives in America, don't they?) - but didn't even the Americans shift their money from BoA after it got hacked?
