For those who were interested

This weekend's been all about the physical labour. Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon swinging off a pruning saw and a pair of loppers at Mum's house, creating firewood and a huge (seriously, bigger than Texas) pile of greenery on her front lawn, to be taken away in a trailer at her convenience. I felt inordinately proud of my 65-year-old, 5'2", teeny tiny Mum, as she carried logs that were almost as big as her with relative ease.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed at 6:30 to go see a lady about some pedicures, brazilians and eyewigs for her sheep, who need to look their best as they are about to get a visit from a certain gentleman sheep. Yes, that's right. 6:30am on a Sunday. Yay for clients springing their needs (or their sheeps needs) on you at the last minute. I'm feeling rather saintly right now.

Anyway, some people wanted to know what an eyewig was.

And the rest of the day shall be spent in creative activity and very pleasant company.

As an added bonus, I saw this yesterday:

I pointed it out to the lady whose potential parking spot I was standing in to take the photo. She didn't get it. It continues to amaze me how non-geeky the general populace is.

Enjoy your Sunday. ;-)
