Drop the K, it would help a lot

I find myself staring at a blank screen, having an internal debate about whether to be honest or diplomatic.

I enjoyed myself. It was a fun social gathering, I met some really neat people, and saw some others that I haven't seen for too long. That was awesome. Someone special came down from Auckland to hang out with me and that was very very cool too. I learned some new hoop tricks, just by having the opportunity to practice a lot, and people to practice with. I think I'm about ready to make a fire hoop. There was more of a sense of community this time round, and more talk around the gathering area outside the kitchen. I like that people gather outside the kitchen.

As I said, it was a very enjoyable social gathering, a relaxing weekend of camping with some dancing, some great conversation and some neat people. I got to use my new camping mattress (best.impulse.buy.ever) again. And I'll probably go back next year, because it's the only time I get to see some of the people I like to see.

Now to psych myself into SWR tour mode. Whangarei and New Plymouth this week. Yay for fancy hotels as juxtaposition to camping. But there will be one thing missing. Something big and warm and nice. ;-)

Also - Zen is not well. There's something weird going on with his back legs, they don't seem to be working properly. Poor little bloke's hardly moving and he's going to the vet tomorrow. I will keep you posted on how he is.
