Bashed over the head with default existence

Yesterday I was informed that my name is down for the Grand Tour Of New Zealand's Small Windowless Rooms. Yes, in two weeks, I will be visiting small windowless rooms in Whangarei and New Plymouth (first week), followed by Wellington, Albany, Invercargill and Cromwell the next week. In these rooms I will be running meetings from 5.30 to 7.30 of an evening, followed by jumping on a plane and taking off to the next place the next morning. Except for Cromwell. For that I get to be driven, from Invercargill, by someone yet to be named. Hmm.

Ooh look! Shiny thing! Speaking of shiny things - Reasons I Love Polly No 276: She gave me glow-in-the-dark underwear! They literally glow in the dark, and are charging up on my windowsill as we speak. The one at home, not the one at work. ;-)

More photos of me (and everyone else) just appeared on the internet. Golly. This is me sniggering behind my hand about how I'm pretty much unrecognisable in the default world, from the person that appears in the shiny photos. Today I am dressed like a schoolteacher. Yay for incognitoability.

Oh, and.. yes, there will be a party. Date to be confirmed, but it'll be some time around my birthday. ;-)

And, last comment. It is difficult to describe how happy it makes me to have finally run across someone with whom I can discuss my passion for electronic music, who will discuss back just as enthusiastically, at length and in detail. You know who you are. *smile*
