Do they do embroidery too?

OK so i heard Telstra is introducing 10Megabit* broadband for $160 a month. To add to the interest and entertaiment value of this, they are putting a 200Megabyte cap on it. This means, if everything worked perfectly you should be able to download for approximately 2 minutes 40 seconds a month. Yay Telstra! You are our saviour from Teh EEeeeevil Telecom - not.

*For those of you in the US, 256K is considered to be broadband here and there are still a heap of people on 56K dialup. Sad, isn't it? This is the not-so-fun part of our global isolation. But we don't have rabies or Mad Cow Disease.

Anyway, grist brought up something about Serenity that got me thinking. He wondered how, if the Reavers are so aggressive and antisocial, they manage to form raiding parties and live on ships together without killing each other. And that got me to wondering about how they sew human skin into their clothes. Like, do they have Wednesday night Sewing Circle, or what? Picture it, see what you think.

I'd love to know Joss's explanation for this, since I have absolutely no doubt that he has one.

I Heart Huckabees was good but there was too much yelling. Why do people in movies yell at each other so much?

And finally, an opportunity knocked on my door yesterday. I'm very excited about it. I'm also terrified. I haven't shorn a sheep for three years. It's like riding a bike. Only one with hooves and a murderous intent that weighs more than I do. Sounds like a bit of me, right?
