Here's a thing.

Normally, it's socially acceptable for a man to walk around outside with his shirt off. Women, on the other hand, shouldn't really get any lower than a singlet.

Now shift the whole scenario to a movie theatre. All of a sudden, the woman can still wear her singlet but a man shouldn't take his shirt off (although I wouldn't complain!), or really even wear a singlet.

What strange social rules we have.

I just had an email from my oldest friend, who has been on morphine for the last month and says it isn't all it's cracked up to be. They don't know what's wrong with her (constant increasing headaches) but she's had a catscan and gets the results on Tuesday.

On House they get the results straight away. It's not right that she should be sick. Bad people should be sick. Not her.
