Serenity! Or, It's Not Stealing If The Other Person Doesn't Lose Anything.. *whistle*

And I will be going to see it on the big screen too so all you Whedon lovers can rest easy - he'll get his dough from me. I'm not going to spoil it, but for me it went "wow, Wow, WOW! *slight disappointment* WOW! Wow, wow, *cry*" Or something close to that, anyway. But yeah, good enough to be worth paying for a second viewing.

In other news, you may or may not have noticed there hasn't been any graffiti lately. This is because my trusty carry-camera has died of old age (in tech terms that means it's roughly three years old and doesn't work any more and tech advancements mean it's not worth repairing). This is sad, it's been a good camera. But, onwards and upwards, I need a new one. I liked my old camera, but there are a couple of things I'd change. For example it was a 'point and click' camera with little control over such things as flash, and no control over things like shutter speed, aperture and filters. It was also quite big and the zoom was digital so I never used it.

What I'd like in a new camera is my old camera (a Kodak CX4200), a bit smaller, with optical zoom and some damn control! Also, I'd like one that's as reliable as my old one, that takes batteries that are easily available and likely to remain so (nothing worse than being stuck with no batteries in a strange town). So I'm looking for recommendations from people In The Know. If you know of a good camera in this category, please let me know. I would be very grateful. I can do my own research, but a place to start is always good and the endorsement of people I know is worth more to me than some blurb on a website. Oh, I also only want to spend between $300-$400.

And, Johnsonville Mall Fish Supply, by the mall, main road Johnsonville.
Price: $4.20
Fish: Good. Crispy and fresh.
Chips: Also good without being great.
Comment: Service a bit slow but good food and I'd say these guys would be pretty consistent. Very clean.
Cooked in: Oil.
Rating: 8/10

Doop de doo, what's everyone up to on the 31st?
