More dodginess

About a week ago, I got a letter in snail mail from Doubleday NZ, with promotional material and other spam-like stuff in it. So what? I hear you say. Well, it was addressed to me, personally. Given that I'm not a customer of Doubleday, I wanted to know how they got my details. If you remember (does anyone read this really?) I had to whois the domain name to get a contact to email about finding out where they got my details.

After a little bit of toing and froing, they got back to me today, and according to their records, my details were supplied to them by NZ Post!!

*gobsmacked*

Anyway, there were details of who to contact about this, and rest assured, contact I will. How dare they? The one company you -have- to give your address to and they give it to people so they can send you spam? *seethe*

There will be more instalments. I recommend you don't bate your breath just yet, however.

And, welcome home Sophie! *smooch*
