Cup o' Mud, anyone?

Today is day 6 with no coffee. And yes, it does feel different.

First, let me say that I haven't succumbed to the pressure from various no-caffiene exponents around the place and gone "Right, that's it, no more of this terrible drug, ever!". It was more like "Gosh, I haven't had a coffee for two days, might as well just keep not having one". Much like when I gave up smoking. I admit my consumption dropped considerably after reading Memoirs From an Antproof Case, which is probably why I haven't had the raging headaches and cravings people talk about.

Anyway, what I'm feeling.. not any clearer, mentally, but I've been waking up earlier and feeling less tired. Strangely, I've been having very vivid dreams. And feeling less hungry. Not sure what no caffiene has to do with that, but it's noticeable.

So, if after three weeks with no coffee I suddenly become a genius I'll let you know. But at the moment, I'd definitely say it's worth it, just to feel more awake.
