Last night was Unco-Night for me. However, I got a compliment from someone whose opinion I respect. It shows that despite my lack of consistency, overall there's an improvement and it's not just all in my head. I miss being able to debrief.
This morning I rode up to the office in the dark, with just the red glow from the button to show me the elevator was still working. I'm not really claustrophobic, but a blackened elevator does start the mind thinking on the possibilities, and my first thought was "Glad I have a torch on my keychain". Light makes such a big difference to our perception of danger. I guess that's why lots of movies are filmed in the dark. Dark elevators are scarier than earthquakes.
Coffee, maybe. Yay!
