Today is day three of no coffee.  So far the only difference… - Tactical Ninja

Today is day three of no coffee.  So far the only difference I'm noticing is that the coffee I make for Dr Wheel in the morning smells even better.

Long term, it will supposedly help me sort out my adrenal stuff and thus I will be filled with vigour and the joy of life, terrifyingly healthy and able to perform amazing feats of strength and endurance.

I'm still allowed coffee, just not first thing in the morning.  Trouble is, by 10am when coffee becomes ok, I'm at work.  Work doesn't supply good coffee, and if I'm only having one coffee a day it's going to be a good one. But I draw the line at paying $5 to go and get a cafe one. Our espresso machine is at home, and by the time I get home if I have a coffee I'll be awake till midnight.

So it seems that by default almost, I'm giving up coffee.  Except the odd one on weekends I guess.  It'll be interesting to see how my next one (roll on Saturday!) affects me.  Will I become annoyingly chipper?  Stay tuned..

Could you fire up the espresso maker and dump some stuff in an insulated jug for later contemplation?

I could! Although, I'm a latte lover and I'm not sure how that'd keep. I guess I could just put the shots in and make the latte at work using my budget method of heating up the milk in the microwave.

Arrrrrgh. I dunno. At some point you figure it's just not worth the hassle.
But I've never heard of anyone anticipating being happier and more chipper without coffee, so I'm looking forwards to your findings.

Was going to suggest this also.

Alternately, I hear Starbucks is now working with Amazon to deliver Pumpkin Spice Lattes by drone. Bwahahahaha

Tis may sound like pure sacrilege, but why not bring a cup from home and reheat it at work?

Fingers crossed it works out for you!
I used to drink coffee, and had a tolerance for it. Now half a cup makes me super!awesome for a few hours, but I prefer how I feel without it.

YOU CAN DO THIS!

Giving up coffee was rough, NGL, but now I just miss it like I miss pizza or lower-case mexican food. I don't crave it, but damn it does smell good still.
